Best helmet
My wife has owned this helmet for quite a few years. She seldom wears it but got it because she is a nurse and at the time a helmet seemed like the “right” thing to do. And of course she bought a good name quality helmet. Over the last couple of years (since covid) she altogether quit wearing it. She says the evidence shows you ride more cautiously without one and their effectiveness is over estimated. So it has been on a shelf in the garage. Last year i got a speedometer and I noticed that when we ride together we go about 10-15mph however when i am alone i ride much closer to 20-25 mph when solo. After a near miss on a solo ride i began thinking about helmets and mentioned my concerns to my wife. She told me i was more then welcome to wear a helmet and suggested i take hers. On my next solo ride i grabbed my wifes drifter helmet. It had an excellent fit was comfortable and felt safe. Afterwards i told my wife i was a big fan and she told me “great then wear it”. I have now worn it for a few months and love it.
