Racing the French Le Mans Grand Prix has been a MotoGP tradition since 1969. As the fifth round of the 2021 series, the paddock and riders were met with rainy and damp conditions, testing each rider’s quest for glory. Cameron qualified 24th, which left him with his work cut out for him at the drop of the green flag. But that didn’t stop him from dicing his way to the front of the field where he found himself in the top six with just a few laps to go. A small mistake with just a few laps to go cost him his best finish on the season. Although heartbreaking in the end, it was a very impressive performance, one which has garnered the attention of many around the paddock and world towards Cameron in his rookie year. Next stop is Mugello.
